Welcome to Brighton Maternity Care
Brighton Maternity Care is a private postnatal midwifery service that provides one to one care for new mums and babies in the Brighton and Hove area.
Becoming a parent is a wonderful time in your life, but it can be a bit daunting to suddenly become responsible for a brand new baby, as well as coping with the physical changes to your body as the result of the birth. We understand this and aim to provide enough support for you, so that you can grow in confidence and learn how to cope with your new addition to the family, and so that you can fully enjoy the experience.
You will be visited at times convenient to you, by a professional qualified independent midwife and will receive care and support above and beyond the level provided by the N.H.S.

- I will show you how to care for your baby, for example nappy changing and bathing.
- Help you to learn normal baby behaviour patterns and interpret your baby’s needs.
- Discuss when to start a routine and how to develop good habits.

The postnatal care I received from Kerry was invaluable and provided much needed support to me and my husband. It was very reassuring to know that she was always available to answer our questions and discuss issues with us and I felt I could ask anything.
